Notion x Little Plains

"The leading agencies today embracing AI aren't the ones with the most tools, they're the ones with the most contextual information. That's why we use Notion."

I produced and shot Notion's customer story on Little Plains, the New York agency whose team did brand work for Sweetgreen, Hims & Hers, and Nike. Two of us flew in with a camera, one day in their studio, one founder who talks in soundbites. I owned the story brief, storyboard review, shoot schedule, gear, crew and crew logisitics… and then the fun part: shooting the interview and b-roll. After the shoot I got the transcripts up and mined the hour for the lines that actually structured the edit, and brought in a motion designer so the graphics could keep up with Emmett.

The story: an agency that runs its entire business on shared context. Hiring handled by a talent intake agent, proposals that turn into client-facing microsites, and a hub that keeps the team from building the same agent twice. Emmett's thesis closes the film: the agencies winning with AI aren't the ones with the most tools, they're the ones with the most contextual information. It shipped as Notion's customer story page and a 3-minute YouTube release, got cut into paid performance ads, played at an internal All Hands, and the story was later chosen as the pilot for Notion's first live, duplicatable workspace demo on notion.com.
